FinLeap at events

It was a great event season for FinLeap so far. In 2017 we were attending many notable events and met great people. Here we will give you an overview about the upcoming events in the next months that members of the FinLeap ecosystem will attend. Get the chance to meet us at one of the last events of this year!

NOAH London from 2 to 3 November 2017

At this leading conference of the European internet and digital economy Europe’s top entrepreneurs and C-level executives have the chance to meet financial, corporate and private investors. FinLeap’s Managing Partner Dr. Carolin Gabor will have a fireside chat with Dr. Christopher Oster, CEO of digital insurance broker and FinLeap Venture Clark.

Bankathon #5 from 21 to 23 November 2017 in Berlin

Figo, Europe´s first banking service provider, partners this year with FinLeap to host the Bankathon #5 in FinLeap’s new Fintech Hub H32 in Berlin. The FinTech hackathon invites programmers, industry experts, bank representatives and customer service experts who will work on solutions to establish banking as a clever everyday companion. This year’s main focus will be the Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2) with its approach to become national law. During the past events with meanwhile 300 attendants from over 12 nations, more than 88 solutions could have been developed.

Ladies First on the 14th of November 2017 in Frankfurt

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management invites alumnae and female students of the Business School to a new event of its Ladies First series. Dr. Carolin Gabor will speak together with Katharina Gehra, Partner at Interritus Group, about the impact of different life choices and how to plan and manage financial situations in every phase of life.

SZ-Economic summit from 16 to 18 of November 2017 in Berlin

Germany’s major economic summit at Hotel Adlon in Berlin with more than 60 first-rate speakers offers a variety of discussions, cross-examinations and disputes, facilitated by senior editors of Süddeutsche Zeitung. FinLeap CEO & Co-Founder Ramin Niroumand will hold a panel together with Ramona Pop, Senator for Economics and Energy in Berlin.

SZ-Symposium “Digital Insurance – insurance and internet” on the 5th of December 2017 in Cologne

The symposium “Digital Insurance – Insurance and internet” in Cologne hosted by Süddeutsche Zeitung will focus on the key topics digitization and cyber risks in the insurance industry. Outstanding projects about digitization will be awarded with the Light-House-Award. FinLeap CEO and Co-Founder Ramin Niroumand will be member of the jury as well as speaker.
