Meet the FinLeap-Team: Christian Juan Ebert, Senior Legal Counsel

Christian Juan Ebert holds the position of Senior Legal Counsel at FinLeap. He joined the company builder in December 2015.

The first impression one gets from Christian is his love for the job. He says, that he rarely uses the word exciting to describe something, but FinLeap is definitely exciting. Being used to having a lot of responsibilities, Christian knows that understanding each of the ventures is one of the most important aspects of his position.

Christian joined FinLeap in December 2015 when he was contacted by a colleague and, thus, he, now, holds the position of Senior Legal Counsel. As such, he is responsible for all corporate legal matters including setting up new ventures from the legal perspective, providing them with the necessary corporate documents; working with documents related to financial investments in the ventures, and, overall, trying to be an advisor to all co-founders in the early stages of development. Today, we interviewed Christian about his job, the ventures, and his legal background.

FinLeap.com: What is the key to successfully collaborating with all the ventures?

Christian: From my perspective, all the ventures need similar corporate documents and help. My aim is to not only be their advisor, but also give them guidance about awareness of sensitive and important tasks in the future.

FinLeap.com: What is the most interesting part of your job?

Christian: I like working with the co-founders and understanding in-depth how the business side of the ventures works.

FinLeap.com: How does working at FinLeap differ from your part experiences?

Christian: As a lawyer, I often had the feeling of being outside of the actual business processes. FinLeap allows me to have contact to everybody on a daily basis, and, thus, helps me get a better feeling for what is needed. Also, the decision processes and energy here is more dynamic.

FinLeap.com: What is your favorite part of working for FinLeap?

Christian: My favorite part is being able to work with so many diverse people including the management team of the company, because I can learn a lot from them.

Apart from being a great team member who really gives 100% every day, Christian loves to spend time with his two kids and do sports in his free time.
