Meet the FinLeap-Team: Leonie Moos, Executive Assistant
Leonie Moos holds the position of Executive Assistant at FinLeap. She joined the company builder in June 2015.
Leonie is a people person – something everyone can see from the very first moment. It seems as if she handles everything from scheduling to events to travels and is always the person to answer all questions.
Leonie joined FinLeap in June 2015 after she was approached by an old colleague. Thus, she is now the Executive Assistant for two managing directors. As such, Leonie is responsible for supporting the FinLeap management, shuffling around meetings (she says it’s like playing Tetris), organizing events, and preparing for internal meetings and events. The many tasks reflect her personality: before FinLeap Leonie held a wide variety of jobs, traveled abroad, and explored many new adventures. She, however, has been a “Berliner” by choice for 11 years. Today, we interviewed Leonie about FinLeap, her position, and her previous experiences.
FinLeap.com: You’ve been at FinLeap for over a year now. How has your position changed over time?
Leonie: With time, I’ve been given more responsibilities than before. Also, my work has become extremely versatile, because I have different topics to work on every day from events abroad to internal meetings.
FinLeap.com: What is something you recently worked on?
Leonie: The biggest task recently has been the organization of the HitFox summer strategy event which gathered more than 600 people from all over the world. It was a two day event that consisted of speeches, workshops, and a pool party.
FinLeap.com: What is your favorite part of working at FinLeap?
Leonie: I absolutely love my colleagues. The team is well coordinated and very understandable. It allows me to get great insights because of my close work with the management and the ventures, so I’m always up to date on recent developments.
FinLeap.com: How does FinLeap differ from your previous experiences?
Leonie: It’s faster than most of the other companies. It also allows for effortless communication which makes it easier to relate to other people, so overall the company provides for a good basis for working together.
Apart from working full time, Leonie is studying to get her Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Whenever she has some free time, she tries to spend it with her friends.
