Paul Fleurance holds the position of Business Development Intern at FinLeap. He joined the company builder in June 2016.

Paul is very enthusiastic about his work at FinLeap, saying that the experience here will give him much helpful advice for the future.

Paul joined FinLeap in June 2016 as the Business Development Intern. He learned about the company builder through a friend from university who also used to hold an internship at FinLeap. Originally from France, moving to Berlin for three months has been a great opportunity for Paul. He says, that the city is much different from Paris – where he studies Political Science and Business. At FinLeap, Paul works on branding and market research for new projects. Today, we interviewed him about his work at FinLeap and his past experiences.

FinLeap.com: You’ve been at FinLeap for two months now. What’s your favorite part of working here?

Paul: I have loved discovering the startup and venture environment. The atmosphere around it is much more dynamic than anything I’ve seen in the past.

FinLeap.com: Speaking of your past experiences, how does FinLeap differ?

Paul: I used to work at a public institution in France. FinLeap is quicker in making decisions. Also, the hierarchy is much flatter, making it easier for colleagues to communicate.

FinLeap.com: Can you describe something recent that you did?

Paul: I have been working on finance research and its implementation into different business models.

FinLeap.com: What’s the most interesting part of your job?

Paul: I love everything around business development – seeing the progress and how my ideas are implemented.

In addition to his work, Paul enjoys traveling (his last destination was New Zealand) and skiing.
