Meet the FinLeap-Team: Vivien Wolter, Team Assistant

Vivien Wolter holds the position of Team Assistant at FinLeap. She joined the company builder in October 2016.

When you first enter the FinLeap office, Vivien makes an impression with her positive personality – always smiling and ready to help with anything. Every morning, she greets people into the office, providing them with assistance on various topics.

Vivien joined FinLeap in October 2016 as the newest Team Assistant. As such, she is responsible to assure guests of the office have a comfortable visit, to order all office supplies, to book flights and to help MD Eckhardt Weber with his scheduling. Vivien found out about FinLeap through social media. Her first impression of the FinLeap office remains true – a very big, open room with many people – exactly what she imagined a startup office would be like. Today, we interviewed Vivien about FinLeap, her job, and her past experiences.

FinLeap.com: You joined the FinLeap family just a month ago. What’s your favorite part of FinLeap so far?

Vivien: I really enjoy that all the people working here are professional, but at the same time friendly. I felt welcomed into the team from the very first day.

FinLeap.com: In your opinion, what makes a successful team assistant?

Vivien: I think to be a successful team assistant, you have to be a very positive person. You have to be ready to be friendly to everyone and remain calm even if there are stressful situations. Most importantly, you have to be able to multitask and prioritize.

FinLeap.com: What’s the most interesting part of your job?

Vivien: I love working with such versatile people with different backgrounds.

FinLeap.com: How does FinLeap differ from your past experiences?

Vivien: It’s completely different. My jobs in the past were very contrasting – I started my career as a lab technician and then moved on to become an event manager. However, all three careers require and utilize the same skills.

Apart from being one of the first people to see every morning, Vivien is also someone that everyone goes to when there is an issue. In her free time, she enjoys bouldering, dancing to electronic music, going out with friends, cooking and of course, spending time with her two children.
