Our finleap Team Offsite

Last Friday, 13. July, the whole finleap team came together for our team offsite. A full programme for the day was planned by our event team and the schedule promised a lot of fun, excitement and relaxation. To make this a complete team event, we welcomed visitors from Italy: the finleap Milan team came over to also participate. A great opportunity to get to know our international colleagues in a casual atmosphere and spend a whole day with the finleap family.

There is no better way to start a day than with a delicious breakfast, right? So we began the day building a solid foundation and met at H:32 for breakfast and to hear the latest updates from our management team. Then we hed off for the first station of our day: a boat trip over the Spree. To get there, we walked 30 minutes through Charlottenburg and arrived with excitement at the pier in Moabit. After everyone was aboard and took a seat on the rooftop, spoiled by the sun, the boat took us on a great tour passing some of Berlin’s most popular attractions and east district, ending after 2 hours at Treptower Park.

Here, the next part of our team offsite was waiting for us on the ‘Insel der Jugend’, a small island in the Spree river at Treptower Park. After welcome drinks and lunch, we got divided into teams of 8 people to take part in the game challenge. Every team had to face 6 challenges, some against their colleagues to score as many points as possible.

From archery, to team tower building, can-shooting, XXL foosball or the ‘team olympics’ on the water, which included a canoe race around the island and a water battle from the canoes – the team challenges tested individuals as well as teamwork and collaboration.

After three hours of fun and games, the teams could relax with a well-earned BBQ while the team points were counted and the winning team identified. Congratulations toooo team figleap!
